Kathy has been teaching Pilates to groups and privately for nearly 20 years. With an emphasis on dynamic alignment and flow, clients learn to move and breathe well, easily and effortlessly. Having originally certified with Body Control Pilates, she joined their teacher training team in 2008. She is now a Senior Tutor on Matwork and Conversion courses as well as many Continuing Education courses for teachers.

Kathy is also a dedicated yogi, and her love of movement of all sorts influences her teaching, in which laughter, exploration and fun all play a part.


Morning Pilates Mat - Wake up body and mind with this flowing, feelgood Pilates-based mat class. After some gentle stretches, we will feel ‘the core’ and then move into deeper flexibility. Lengthen, strengthen, breathe and move your whole body to greet your day. This class is open level and suitable for both yogis and Pilates practitioners, but not complete beginners, nor those with active injuries.

Intermediate Pilates - In this dynamic workout, you will connect mind and body, breath and movement, alignment and flow. Mixing Pilates-evolved exercises with classical mat work and at times using small apparatus (such as soft balls or flex-bands) you will move continuously with precision and connection to your breath, ensuring a full-body movement experience. This class is suitable for those with a sound knowledge of Pilates and without injury.
