Mindfulness is a popular but often misunderstood buzzword. In this session, Bronwyn Silva will explore the definition of mindfulness and the transformative possibilities of applying mindfulness to being a mum.
She will introduce you to a way of approaching the ups and downs of pregnancy, childbirth, and early motherhood with open eyes and an open heart. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and find realistic ways that mindful awareness can be gently and compassionately woven into your day. It's not about adding to your already overwhelming to-do-list, but finding a new way of seeing.
This event is part of Baby and Me - a parent and baby morning that takes place every Thursday. Baby and Me includes Pregnancy Yoga (9.30 - 10.30am), Post Natal Pilates for Parents (10.45 - 11.45am), birth and baby workshops/discussions led by experts, plus delicious juices, breakfast and lunches with maternal health in mind.
