In Chapter 2 of the Yoga Sutra, Patanjali speaks about the five hindrances to Yoga, known as the Kleshas. These hindrances (or afflictions) result in the fluctuations of the mind.
The paradox of the Kleshas for the yogi is that they are both the cause of worldly experiences, and the primary obstacle of Samadhi (Enlightenment, Self-Realisation).
Through thoughtful inquiry, we can investigate how our yoga practice can free us from the bondage of the Kleshas.
This workshop will include:
- a dynamic Jivamukti asana practice
- a look into different ways we can live with more freedom and less attachment
- a Meditation practice

Celest acquired her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2009 from the University of London. This training has led to an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Her yoga practice began 17 years ago and in that time she completed teacher trainings in Hatha, Dharma Mittra and Tripsichore. She is passionate about movement in various forms such as dance, capoeira, rock climbing and kitesurfing. Her YouTube channel has over 23000 subscribers which has enabled her to travel the world teaching for studios, festivals and retreats.
