Ali is a psychotherapist offering private one-to-one and couples therapy to anyone over 18.
His Existential training and undergraduate in English and Philosophy means his therapy helps you to understand what matters to you, what you can and can’t control and how you can better live your life, your way.
He is a warm but challenging therapist, encouraging you to explore the rough and the smooth, as it might be in grappling with the toughest parts of your life that gives you the insight you are looking for.
He works from as few as six weekly sessions up to a period of years, meaning he can tailor your therapy to meet your needs, whether short or long-term.
Outside of private practice he works in an NHS cancer and palliative care support service and has previously worked for ChildLine, in NHS drug treatment services and a domestic abuse prevention charity. His doctoral research was into experiences of armed services personnel leaving the military.
Working across this scope has given him experience of a broad range of people and issues but he is particularly experienced in supporting people through anxiety issues, stress, bereavement, crisis of values/beliefs, low/depressive mood, low self-esteem, physical ill-health and relationship issues.
